Riven Draft In Progress
Bellowed ship sails, industrial machine tools, and anthropomorphic imagery inspired this design. The top of the sculpture can be read as a neck, a handle, or a crutch. In designing and fabricating this piece, the artist was interested in exploring how sheet metal could subtly bend in multiple directions.
