Piraeus In Progress
I built a steam bending tube for the construction of this sculpture. As the ash ribs were pulled out of the steam tube, they were quickly positioned on a plywood form. After the wood had fully dried, the connection of each hoop and vertical rib is notched, screwed, and plugged.
