Optic Splitter In Progress
This image shows the framework construction for my Optic Splitter sculpture. Triangular forms were used to establish each footprint and level of this sculpture. Each horizontal and vertical line was lapped in order to create a smooth surface that I could then clad over using custom cut wedges of poplar wood.
